TREASURE QUEST THIS SATURDAY – DON’T MISS OUT
What a great quiz – lots of twists and turns and a finale I think we’ll never forget!
In first place this week were ‘Kebab Machine’ who started off well but thought it had all gone pear shaped as they failed to get their Quizmo in on time. However, said round was so insanely tough (sorry) that it didn’t have any affect on their lead meaning that 1 point was enough to take that victory.
Going on to Spin The Wheel of Fortune, things were looking good from the off as the bottle of rum was revealed and wheel said ‘win’. Next was the £10 cash and despite some rather hilarious toing and froing they finally managed to settle on the correct answer. Next came two wins, for the box of chocs and the tube of pringles but by now that potential bankrupt was looming so heavily they hardly dared spin again. However, there’s no get outs with this game and with the final card revealing £20 the audience waited in anticipation as the wheel slowed to a stop…….. BANK!!!! Congratulations!
Second place went to ‘Good Working Knowledge’ with 44.5 points and some damn fine logical thinking during the spotlight while third went to ‘The Captain Planets’ who now go up one place on the leader board.
‘Thin Quizzy’ came in fourth but the sensory round caused problems meaning they would have to work hard to catch up.
‘The Happy Mondays’ were back for more this week, coming in fifth place but with a little more technique – i.e. getting the Quizmo Round in on time – they could go a whole lot further.
In sixth place were ‘Not Enough Cookes’ with a top of the class performance during the tasting while seventh place was awarded to ‘Sunshine’
